Cleaned Where It Lives
Onsite Rug Cleaning in Newcastle — Cleaned Where It Lives
Professional rug cleaning in your home or business — fibre-specific chemistry and controlled low-moisture methods for rugs that can't be moved, need a fast turnaround, or require minimal disruption to your space.
Cleaning In Place
Specialist Rug Care Without Moving Your Rug
Not every rug can — or should — be lifted and transported. Onsite rug cleaning brings our specialist assessment and fibre-specific chemistry to your home or business, cleaning your rug safely in place with controlled, low-moisture methods.
Onsite cleaning is the right choice when a rug is too large or heavy to move, sits on delicate flooring, or belongs in a commercial space where downtime isn't an option. It's also ideal for fast turnarounds — a refresh before guests arrive, between tenancies, or as part of a scheduled maintenance program.
But onsite cleaning is not a shortcut. We still assess the fibre, test dye stability where required, and select chemistry suited to the rug — the same principles that govern our wash-plant process, adapted for in-place cleaning. Where a rug genuinely needs the depth of full immersion washing, we'll tell you and recommend the wash plant instead.
When Onsite Cleaning Is Right
Rugs That Suit In-Place Cleaning
- Rugs that can't be easily moved — large area rugs, heavy wool rugs, fitted-style rugs
- Rugs on delicate flooring or under heavy furniture where lifting risks damage
- Commercial premises needing minimal disruption — offices, hotels, retail, medical practices
- Fast turnaround situations where pickup and wash-plant drying isn't practical
- Rugs needing spot treatment, stain treatment or odour refresh between full cleans
When the Wash Plant Is Better
Onsite cleaning is excellent, but it can't match the depth of full immersion washing. For rugs with deep contamination, pet urine, severe odour, heavy soiling, or delicate fibres needing controlled drying, our dedicated wash plant is the right environment.
We'll always assess your rug first and recommend honestly — onsite, wash plant, or a combination. Free pickup and delivery applies within 25km of our Cardiff facility.

A Controlled Clean, In Your Space
The same assessment-first principles as our wash plant — adapted for safe, low-moisture cleaning in place.
On-Site Assessment
We inspect the rug in place — fibre, construction, dye stability, soiling and staining — and confirm whether onsite cleaning is the right approach for your rug.
Area Preparation
We protect surrounding flooring and furnishings, and ensure the work area is set up for controlled, low-moisture cleaning.
Dry Soil Removal
Loose grit and particulate soil are removed from the pile before any moisture is introduced — protecting the fibres during cleaning.
Pre-Treatment
Targeted pre-treatment is applied to soiled traffic lanes, stains and contamination based on the individual assessment.
Low-Moisture Clean
Fibre-specific chemistry and controlled low-moisture methods lift soiling without over-wetting the rug or the floor beneath.
Rinse & Extraction
Loosened soil and cleaning residue are extracted, leaving the rug clean and free of sticky residue that attracts rapid re-soiling.
Grooming & Finishing
The pile is groomed to set the fibres evenly, leaving the rug looking revived and presentable in place.

Onsite Cleaning FAQs
Straight Answers
Can every rug be cleaned onsite?+
Most rugs can be cleaned onsite, but not all. Heavily soiled or contaminated rugs — particularly those with pet urine, deep staining, or odour issues — are far better served by full immersion washing at our wash plant. We'll assess your rug in place and give you an honest recommendation before we start.
What's the difference between onsite cleaning and wash-plant cleaning?+
Onsite cleaning uses controlled low-moisture methods suited to rugs that can't be moved or need a fast result. Wash-plant cleaning allows full immersion washing, deep decontamination and controlled drying — a deeper, more thorough clean for rugs that need it. We'll advise which is right for your rug.
Will my floor get wet?+
No. Onsite rug cleaning uses low-moisture techniques and we protect the surrounding flooring before we begin. The rug is cleaned in place without over-wetting it or the surface beneath.
How long does onsite cleaning take?+
Most onsite cleans are completed within a single visit — typically one to a few hours depending on the rug size, number of rugs and level of soiling. The rug is usually dry and ready for light use within a few hours of completion.
Do you offer onsite cleaning for businesses?+
Yes. We provide onsite commercial rug cleaning for offices, hotels, accommodation, retail and medical practices, with flexible scheduling to minimise disruption to your operations.
Is onsite cleaning as thorough as wash-plant cleaning?+
Onsite cleaning is highly effective for routine soiling, stains and refresh work, but it cannot match the depth of full immersion washing for heavily contaminated rugs. We'll always be honest about what onsite cleaning can and can't achieve for your specific rug.
