How much does rug cleaning cost?+
Pricing depends on the rug's size, fibre, construction, condition and the treatment it needs. Because every rug is assessed individually, we provide a tailored quote rather than a flat rate. Start with our quote wizard or send us a photo and we'll advise.
How long does rug cleaning take?+
Most rugs are completed within 5–7 working days, though heavily soiled or contaminated rugs requiring immersion washing and controlled drying may take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with your quote.
Can you remove every stain?+
Not every stain can be completely removed — results depend on the fibre, dyes, stain composition, age, previous treatments and the rug's overall condition. We'll always give you an honest assessment of what's achievable before we start.
Can you remove pet urine?+
Urine that has seeped into the rug foundation requires deep immersion washing and specialist decontamination. We have significant experience treating pet urine and odour, and we'll be honest about expected outcomes after inspection.
Can all rugs be washed?+
Most rugs can be washed, but not all by the same method. Delicate or unstable dyes may require a gentler dry-cleaning approach, while heavily soiled rugs benefit from full immersion washing. We assess each rug and recommend the right process.
Do you clean wool rugs?+
Yes — wool is one of the most common fibres we treat. Our fibre-specific chemistry and controlled processes are designed for wool's natural characteristics.
Do you clean delicate rugs like silk?+
Yes. Persian, Oriental and silk rugs receive specialist care with gentle, fibre-appropriate methods and pre-testing of dye stability.
Can I drop my rug off?+
Yes. You're welcome to drop your rug off at our Cardiff facility during opening hours. We'll record your rug's details and concerns at check-in.
Do you collect rugs?+
Yes — we offer free pickup and delivery within 25km of our Cardiff head office (Zone 1). Outside this area, collection can be arranged; ask us for details.
How long does drying take?+
Controlled drying is a critical part of the process and can take 24–48 hours depending on the fibre, thickness and ambient conditions. Proper drying protects the rug and prevents issues like browning or distortion.
Will my rug shrink?+
Shrinkage is a risk with some natural fibres if cleaned incorrectly. Our controlled processes and specialist assessment minimise this risk — we pre-test and select the appropriate method for each rug.
Can colours run?+
Some dyes are unstable and can bleed during cleaning. That's why we pre-test dye stability before treatment and select a method that protects your rug's colours.
How do you determine the right cleaning process?+
Every rug is professionally inspected for fibre, construction, dye stability, condition, soiling, staining and contamination. The recommended process is based on that assessment — not a generic routine.

Our facility is at Unit 2/5 Pavilion Place, Cardiff NSW 2285 — the same suburb where the family business began over 35 years ago.
What are your opening hours?+
Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Saturday by appointment, Sunday closed.

Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, the Central Coast and beyond. Free pickup and delivery applies within 25km of Cardiff.
